Do not leave the tap running
Leaving the tap running while brushing teeth, doing wudu or washing dishes wastes a lot of water. Open it when needed, close it when done, and fix leaking taps.

Safe water is not endless. In many areas the groundwater level is falling, and pumping, treating and bringing water to the home takes power and money. Yet every day a lot of water runs away through open taps and leaking pipes.
Small habits, big savings. Turn the tap off while brushing teeth or soaping up. Wash dishes in a basin, not under a running tap. Watch the tank while it fills so it does not overflow. Fix dripping taps and leaking pipes quickly.
If you see a tap left running at a mosque, school or office, turn it off, and tell whoever is in charge about the leak.
