Deleting your data

Deleting your account erases all your personal information from this site, at once. The work done for the country stays, without your name.

Do it yourself, in two minutes

  1. 1

The way you opened the account: password, Google or Facebook.

  2. 2

    Open Security

My page → Security. At the foot of the page, in red, "Delete account".

  3. 3

    Confirm

Give your password once if you have one, then press "Yes, delete". It is erased at once.

What is erased

  • Your name, photo, bio and home area
  • Your email, phone number and sign-in details
  • Notifications and permission to message your phone
  • Your team chat messages and comments
  • Any coordinator application, with its ID card details
  • Endorsements of you, and those you wrote
  • Your address on the newsletter and the From abroad email list
  • Messages you sent through the contact form
  • Your place in teams whose work is not finished

What stays, without your name

So that other people's work and the area's totals do not break, these stay under "Former member", linked to nobody.

  • Verified work and its proof photos
  • That work's points, so the district's total does not drop
  • Published ideas and needs (phone numbers are erased)

Signed in with Google or Facebook?

Sign in the same way and follow the steps above. Then, if you like, remove Desher Kaj in Facebook's Settings → Apps and websites (or Google Account → third-party apps), so nothing more comes from there either.

Cannot sign in?

Write through the contact page, or by email. Tell us the email or phone the account used. We will make sure it is you, erase it, and let you know.

What we keep and why is on the privacy page. Read the privacy policy
