No child marriage
By law the minimum age of marriage is 18 for girls and 21 for boys. Marrying earlier means schooling stops and the risks of becoming a mother too young. If you hear of a child marriage, report it.

Under the Child Marriage Restraint Act, 2017, a girl who has not turned 18 and a boy who has not turned 21 are minors. Marrying them is child marriage, an offence punishable by law.
Married young, many girls stop their schooling right there. Pregnancy at a young age carries greater health risks for both mother and baby. The future of the child we love comes first.
If you hear of a child marriage, tell the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, the upazila women affairs officer, the police station or the union council. By phone: 109 for preventing violence against women and children, the child helpline 1098, or 999 in an emergency.
