Do not spit in public
Spit and betel juice on roads, stairs, buses and walls make filth, and germs can spread with spitting and coughing. If you must spit, use a toilet, a drain or a tissue.

Stains of spit and betel juice on roads, stairwell corners, bus windows and office walls are seen by everyone. They make places filthy and end up on other people’s feet and shoes.
The World Health Organization says tuberculosis spreads through the air when people with TB cough, sneeze or spit. So spitting anywhere is not only rude; it is a risk to other people’s health.
If you must spit, do it in a toilet or a drain, or into a tissue or handkerchief and put it in the bin. Cover your mouth with your elbow or a handkerchief when you cough or sneeze. With a cough lasting more than two weeks, see a doctor; advice by phone: Shasthya Batayon 16263.
