The neighbourhood playground is often strewn with broken glass, polythene and rubbish; children playing barefoot cut their feet, and slowly the ground itself becomes a dump.
The idea: a few of the teams who play there regularly take turns, one day a week, to walk the ground for fifteen minutes before play and pick up the rubbish. A grown-up comes along; glass or anything sharp is picked up only with gloves, and children do not touch it.
Talk to whoever owns or looks after the ground (a school, a club or the municipality) and arrange for a rubbish basket there.
