A play afternoon where disabled children join in
Abir · 13 October 2026
Many disabled children never go to the playground: nobody calls them, the games do not suit them, and often others laugh.
The idea: one afternoon a month, in a school ground or club room, games everyone can join: rolling a ball while sitting, songs and rhymes, drawing, slow and silly races. Ask the parents of disabled children first which games are safe for their child.
The other children learn to stand alongside, and disabled children find friends.
