Many women and young people make pickles, pitha, sewing, nakshi kantha or handicrafts at home, but find nowhere to sell them.
The idea: one afternoon a month, with permission, a small market for home-made goods in a school ground or club room. No charge for a stall. Anyone selling food keeps it covered and clean.
Alongside, a short session: how to set a price, and how to keep a simple account of money in and out.
