Helping families register their children’s births

A birth certificate is needed for many official things, starting with school admission. Many families do not register in time, then run around and pay middlemen on the day they need it. The idea: a few neighbourhood volunteers remind families with a new baby and show them how to apply at the union council, municipality or Union Digital Centre, and which papers are needed.
