A list of safe drinking-water sources in a salty area

On the Khulna coast tube-well water is salty in many places. Many people do not know which pond, tank or tap is fit to drink from, so women and children walk far to fetch water. A few neighbours can visit each source and note its taste, colour and who uses it. On a hand-drawn map, mark which source stays good in which season. Ask households with rainwater tanks whether they would share some water with neighbours in the dry season. You need a few volunteers, a large sheet of paper and a pen, and a chance to show the list to a local council member.
