A vaccination reminder board in a tea-garden neighbourhood

Tea-garden neighbourhoods around Sylhet are often far from the main road. Busy mothers forget a child's vaccination date, or never hear when the clinic will give vaccines. Put up a board or a sheet on a wall in the middle of the neighbourhood. Ask the local health worker for the vaccination days and write them down. Two or three women take turns to visit homes the day before and remind families. Encourage everyone to keep the child's vaccination card in one safe place. You need a board, marker pens, one talk with the local health worker and a few keen mothers.
