A circle for parents to talk with their teenage children
মো. আজিজুল হক Desher Kaj team · 10 October 2026
Teenagers hold a lot inside. Parents only ask about studies, so the child seeks comfort from friends or the phone, and the risk of going astray grows.
With a teacher or an experienced neighbour to help, hold a parents' circle once a month. Everyone shares what happens at home and how to listen without getting angry. Learn one simple rule, listen first, then speak. Let your children know who they can turn to when they feel low.
You need a room at school, one facilitator and the parents' time.
