A monthly day to learn about local development works

In city neighbourhoods many people do not know when, or by whom, road, drain or street-light work is being done. Not knowing, no one can check whether it is done properly. On a fixed evening each month, two or three neighbours visit the city corporation or ward office and learn what work is under way. Then they write it up on a notice board in the neighbourhood. If there is a question, write it down and raise it politely. You need a few interested residents, a board and a little time for the office visit. The aim is not blame but knowing and cooperating.
