A picture board at the river landing explaining storm signals

On the Meghna bank in Chandpur, fishers and boatmen hear weather signals but not everyone understands what each number means. Many cannot read, so signals get misunderstood. Paint a large board at the landing with pictures and simple words showing which signal means no going out on the river and when to head home. Get the meanings from a local weather worker or volunteer. Repaint the board every year before the rains. You need a board, paint, someone who can draw and the boatmen's agreement.
