A day to seal essential papers in waterproof tins before cyclone season

রেহানা আক্তার Desher Kaj team · 12 October 2026

On the Patuakhali coast families leave for the cyclone shelter in a storm, and ID and land papers get wet or lost. Fix a day in the neighbourhood before the season. Arrange a lidded plastic tin or good bag for each family, holding photocopies of essential papers, a note of medicine names and the 999 number. Build the habit of taking it along in a storm. You need tins or bags, an organiser and a few volunteers.
