A team to flag fallen trees and hanging wires after a storm
বিপ্লব মণ্ডল Desher Kaj team · 14 October 2026
When the wind drops, people think the danger is over. But fallen branches, snapped wires and broken poles cause many accidents just then, and children wander toward them without knowing.
Pick three or four neighbours to walk the area from a safe distance once the storm passes. When they see a hanging wire or broken pole they stay away, mark the spot with red cloth or a branch, and warn everyone. One person reports it to the electricity office. Heavy branches are cleared together.
You need red cloth, a few sticks and a phone. Teach everyone first: never touch a wire.
