An evening care room for children of night-shift mothers in a factory area
মারিয়া গমেজ Desher Kaj team · 18 October 2026
In factory areas many mothers work night shifts. Children are then left alone at home or wander the road, study is missed and there is no safety. Mothers work with constant worry.
Set up a care room in a para house or community space from evening into the night. Two trustworthy women take turns watching the children, helping with homework and seeing that they eat. Each family helps as it can, with rice, lentils or time. A notebook records who leaves and collects each child.
You need a safe room, mats, light and two reliable women. Sit with the mothers first and agree the rules.
