Reading out the society's accounts to all members once a month
মো. কামাল উদ্দিন Desher Kaj team · 5 October 2026
In a para society members pay in every month, but many do not know the total collected or spent. The ledger sits with one or two people. Doubts arise, quarrels follow, and the society breaks up.
Make it a rule that at each monthly meeting the treasurer reads the accounts aloud: who paid how much, what was spent, what remains. Every transaction has a receipt or a written line. Two members check the book separately and sign. Members keep their own notebooks too.
You need a ledger, a monthly meeting and the will to be open.
