A simple notebook for farmers to track their own crop sales
মো. সোহেল মাহমুদ Desher Kaj team · 4 October 2026
Many farmers sell their harvest but keep no written record of what they spent and received. Next season they cannot tell which crop made money and which lost.
Every farm family keeps a notebook: seed, fertiliser, labour and irrigation costs, and what they received from sale. After the season, the para's farmers sit together and compare notebooks to see which crop did well. Experiences of where each sold are shared too.
You need ordinary notebooks, an end-of-season meeting and a few literate people to help others.
