A rota to look after working parents' children
মো. আলাউদ্দিন মিয়া Desher Kaj team · 16 October 2026
Parents who work in factories leave in the morning, and small children are often alone or rely on an elder sibling. The fear of accidents remains.
Ten or twelve families in the para can make a rota. A trusted elder or a mother who stays home takes turns watching everyone's children, and in return others help her in small ways, such as shopping. Children's names, parents' phones and emergency notes are kept in a notebook.
You need a safe room, a notebook, and mutual trust among families.
