Shade and drinking water where day labourers gather in the morning

From dawn day labourers stand at the city junction hoping for work. Sun, rain and thirst trouble them, and there is nowhere to sit. Nearby shopkeepers and neighbours can build a shelter on one side of the junction, put benches under it and set up an earthen pot or filter for water. Someone takes a turn each day to fill it. First talk to the local representative so the spot does not block the road. You need small contributions, a few bamboo poles and tin sheets, and people to take turns.
