Hands-on skills workshops for families in the idle haor months

When water rises in the haor many families get no work for months. They pass the time sitting, though it could be a good chance to learn something new. Start a workshop two afternoons a week in a dry room at the village school or beside the mosque. Whoever is good at something, such as boat repair, tailoring, vegetable gardening or phone repair, teaches the others.
