Reading the union council notice board aloud at the market
মো. সাইফুল ইসলাম Desher Kaj team · 20 October 2026
Many people do not know what is pinned on the union council notice board. Those who cannot read, or live far away, hear about government support late. The market day gathers everyone, yet the news does not reach them.
Each market day a volunteer copies the new notices into a notebook, then reads them out in plain words in front of a tea stall for two or three minutes. If anything is unclear, people are told to ask at the council office.
You need one volunteer who can read, a notebook and pen, and the shopkeeper's permission. Teenagers can take turns doing it.
