A habit of asking questions without shame

In class many students stay silent even when they do not understand. Fearing friends will laugh or the teacher will be annoyed, they do not ask, and slowly fall behind. Teachers can keep five minutes at the end of class for questions. Thank whoever asks. Those too shy to speak can write a question on paper and drop it in a box, and the teacher answers next day. Parents too can encourage questions at home. You need a question box and a little patience from teachers.
