Recording hill songs and stories on a phone

Many songs, rhymes and stories of our elders travel only by word of mouth. When they are gone these may be lost, and the new generation will not know them. Young people can sit beside elders once a month and, with permission, record songs and stories. Note the speaker's name, the date and the place with each recording. A listening session can be held too. It needs a phone, the elders' consent and a folder or library computer to store the recordings.
