A notebook for workers to record their own overtime and leave

Many factory workers, when they get their pay slip at month's end, cannot tell whether overtime and leave are counted right. With nothing written themselves, it is hard to raise a question. After work each day, spend a few seconds noting in a small notebook when you came, when you left and how many extra hours you worked. At month's end compare it with your pay. If something does not match, ask management calmly. It needs a small notebook, a pen and a regular habit. It helps if colleagues in the neighbourhood begin together.
