A shade and water corner for workers in the heat

Summers in the Barind region are harsh. Farmers, van pullers and construction workers often keep working through the noon sun without drinking water, and dizziness and collapse follow. Choose a tree or a small shed near the market or a junction. Keep boiled, cooled water in a covered pot with one clean glass, and put a bench beside it. Neighbours take turns to refill it each morning. Put up a note reminding people to rest at midday when it is very hot. You need a shaded spot, a pot, a glass and a few neighbours willing to take turns.
